Rocky the movie is an inspirational story about a man named Rocky Balboa and his journey through his boxing career leading to his big match against the undisputed Heavy Weight Champion Apollo Creed. Rocky wanted to fight Apollo not just to beat him, but to show people how he can achieve great things. He wanted to do this because Rocky was working as a loan shark and fighting in underground boxing rings for around $40. With this money Rocky used it to pay for his small Apartment. He wasn't rich only making ends meet with the money he gets. When he decided that he was going to fight Apollo he started training getting ready for the fight by working on his attacks by punching meats at his friends jobs freezer. He worked on his stamina by jogging around Philadelphia and running up the stairs of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I could tell he was making progress because when he started climbing the stairs he was struggling, but as he kept training he climbed the stairs without any problems. After the training he was ready for the fight. He didn't beat Apollo, but he had achieved what he wanted was to be able to fight the great Apollo Creed.
