Personal I'm not really a fan of musicals so I knew I wouldn't enjoy this movie but part of me enjoyed it not a lot but a little. The story was good once I got pass all the singing. It’s about Roxie Hart (Renée Zellweger) she is a young woman with a big dream of becoming a broadway performer but she can’t get a gig to make her big break. But when Casley (Dominic West) her secret lover tries to walk out on her she kills him and Roxie is sent to jail. After this the rest of her story is meet with other interesting characters who all have a story to to tell in the form of singing and dancing. Such as Velma Kelly is nightclub singer who killed her husband and sister. She is played by Catherine Zeta-Jones. Billy Flynn is renowned lawyer who plays with the “victim” story and finds way to make them seem guilty to the public played by Richard Gere. Amos Hart plays John C. Reilly who is Roxie husband he gains several emotions from this story. And even Queen Latifah who plays Mama Morton the warden of the prison. So if you like musicals well then this is a movie you would definitely enjoy.
