Chicago

Chicago is a Drama/Comedy music film that was released in 2002 directed by Rob Marshall, it's based on the musical of the same name exploring the themes of celebrity scandal and corruption in Chicago during the Jazz age. This film centers on Velma Kelly (Zeta Jones) and Roxie Hart (Zellweger), two murderesses who find themselves in jail together awaiting trial in 1920's Chicago. Velma, a vaudevillian, and Roxie a housewife, Velma was arrested for killing her husband Charlie and her sister Veronica who were in bed together. Roxie furiously admitted Casely and her were having an affair and later was arrested. Later on in the film Roxie suggests fir them to perform together, a double act of two murders. Roxie refuses at first, but then comes to a decision to accept after Velma points out that they would be performing together, despite their resentment for each other. The two perform together earning them the love from the audience and the press, This film was very interested to watch because it consisted a lot of comedy, and drama but I feel like there was never a dull moment between the characters or the plot, I would definitely watch this film again, and let others know about it and encourage them to watch it as well.
