Malcolm X

Malcolm X is a 1992 American epic biographical drama film about Afro-American Activist. Directed and co-written by Spike Lee, This film was a real eye opener because it touched n many key events of Malcolm X's life including his criminal career his conversion to Islam, ministry's a member of the Nation of Islam and his falling out with them. (the organization) He then marries Betty Shabazz, who he later on had ix daughter with. Malcolm X preaches a doctrine of separation from white society, A pilgrimage to Mecca softens his beliefs, teaching him that Muslims come from all races, even whites, and he endeavors to break free of the strict dogma of the Nation of Islam being said Malcolm X was later assassinated on February 21, 1965 in New York City. This film taught me a lot about Malcolm X and the life he managed to have. I didn't know much about him, I only heard of his name but not his story. This film impacted me a lot to see a different side of view that he took things in, and now when I hear of  Malcolm X, I can actually understand why so many admire him, who he was and his beliefs.
