Kiss and cry was an interesting movie about a teenage girl named carley Allison that did ice skating her whole life. The movie started off with her competing for a spot on the elite ice skating team and she won her spot. Shin Amano was her coach and a very humble man and didn’t believe in bragging of celebrating accomplishments, “Treat triumphs like funereal and treat funeral like triumph” he said this to her after she made elite and he saw how happy she was. She went to a party with her friends where she sang a song in the middle of the floor and everybody loved it including this boy from school that she had never met. The boy whose name was John Servinis followed her home and you could tell that he has an interest in her but she pretended to know have an interest in him. In school the next day he sat in her seat and she made a fuss about it but he only did it so he could get her attention, which he did and they ended up going on a date. She continued going to practice for ice skating and one day she was really out of breathe so her mom took her to the hospital and they said it was just asthma. Thinking nothing of it other than using her inhaler when needed until another day at practice she was in the changing room and out of breathe again so she tried using the inhaler but she soon passed out on the floor. Another day in the hospital but this time it’s more intense and both of her parents plus her two sisters are there so she knows it’s something serious when she wakes up and sees them coming in and her sisters fighting their tears. She asked what was wrong and her mom told her that they found out she had a rare 1 in 3.5 billion form of cancer called Sarcoma and it was devastating for the family. She had to go through chemo and stay out of school for a while, John and her had hung out a couple more times and they became closer and closer and it got to the point where he was at her house and her family loved him how he loved Carley. She stayed strong through everything and she always remained positive no matter what and she finally overcame cancer and it went back to ice skating and being a “regular” teenager. She still went for regular cat scans so that er doctor could officially clear her but on the last one something happened, the doctor found the cancer in her throat. It was even stronger than before and her family still showed the same support but at that point it was nothing they could do. Her time on the earth was short but she lived every minute to the fullest.
