Man on wire was a very compelling film. The film was made published in 2008 directed by James Marsh. The film won an academy award for best documentary feature. This film really ingredient me because the main character Philippe Petit was a tightrope walker/dancer who amazed the world with his gift to be able to walk across very famous and extremely high landmarks in the world. For example one of his attempts he attempted to walk across the highest point of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Italy. Once he accomplished his goal be he wanted to try pushing the envelop even more so he decided he was going to walk across the the two twin towers of the world trade center. He planned for months because this was his biggest performance yet and he wanted to get everything perfect before he actually had attempted to do it. Once he got up there he felt like he was walking the wire like nothing that it had came natural to him. I was pretty amazed to see the film that he captured while doing his performances because I had never really witness anything like this before. I've heard of it but I would never pay attention, but the way he was explaining his preparing process I was astonished to hear because he planned everything so strategically and everything went his way.
