Alyssa Beckam - Crooklyn

Crooklyn is a 1994 semi- Autobiographical film co-written and directed by Spike Lee . This movie focuses on young girl name Troy (played by Zelda Harris) and her family  Throughout the movie Troy is learning life lessons through her four rowdy brother, her loving strict school teacher mother (Alfre Woodard )and her struggling musician father (Delroy Lindo) . In the summer Troy is sent to her Aunt Song's southern home for a visit but when she returns to Brooklyn she learns her mother is in the hospital and is very ill with cancer and died after her mother died she learn how to adapt to the new changes and is taking on the role of being a mother figure to her brothers .
